North Carolina Wine Festival – Koka Booth 2020

The grape tour continues! Join us for the 6th Annual North Carolina Wine Festival at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC on October 17, 2020.  Tickets will go on sale Summer 2020!

Enjoy tasting more than 100 different varieties of North Carolina wines from sweet to dry! Once your glass is filled, groove to the music from live bands, grab a bite from any of our food vendors and enjoy browsing the exhibitor’s tents for extra treasures.

The North Carolina Wine Festival is proud to support our local charities – The Raleigh Jaycees and the Foundation of Hope.

The Shakedown is a Raleigh-based party/dance band. They play classic dance music that spans Soul,R&B, Funk, Reggae and Rock.

General Admission gates open at Noon.

General Admission ticket holders will receive a commemorative wine tasting glass, unlimited wine tastings and entertainment throughout the day by three live bands.

VIP Experience

VIP gates open at 11 am.

VIP ticket holders enjoy 1-hour early admission to beat the crowds and enjoy the festivities.

You'll also receive a commemorative wine glass, unlimited wine and beer tastings plus access to the private VIP-only tent.

Inside the VIP tent, enjoy food pairings, specialty cocktails, and a bonus selection of NC Wines.

There are numerous parking decks and parking spots available.

Parking lots close to the festival are:

  • Bank of America Tower Garage at 4242 Six Forks Road.
  • Captrust Tower Garage at 4208 Six Forks Road.
  • Main District Garage – located across the street from Midtown Park – at 4121 Main at North Hills Street.
  • Midtown Plaza Parking Garage at 321 Church at North Hills Street.
  • The Park and Market Garage at 100 Saint Albans Drive.
  • Park Central Garage at 200 Park at North Hills Street.

There really is no easy way around this. The massive crowds, grass, and general terrain just don’t allow for the best wheelchair access.

However, we will be happy to help where we can. Just see the event staff and allow us a few moments to figure out how we can best accommodate anyone with a special need.

Yes, EMS will be onsite to help provide immediate assistance.

This is considered a responsible adult event so bringing children is highly discouraged as there is nothing for them to do.

However if you must bring them you are responsible for them and tickets may be purchased at the regular adult price. Only children age 11 and under are free.

This is a rain-or-shine event.

Yes, there will be two ATMs onsite. They will be located at each main gate.

Tasting is free with your admission.

Wineries are prepared to pour a ‘standard’ taste sample. Please be respectful and allow others to enjoy their product too.

We cannot guarantee that every wine and winery listed will arrive as planned the day of the festival.

We encourage all festival attendees to arrive early for the best possible selection of wines, as the most popular flavors will run out quickly!

Yes. We make certain that we have enough security to help provide direction, maintain control and protect the rights of our business partners as well as our patrons.

Our security team will also be checking bags at the front gate before entry. Please remember – COOLERS, TENTS, OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES are NOT allowed. NO exceptions.

Please go out of your way to say ‘thank you’ to the members of the Wake County Sheriff Department and Raleigh Police Department who will be at the event. If you need any help at all, just talk with any of these fine men and women.


You must present your state issued ID in order to enter the event. NO EXCEPTIONS!

You must at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the wine sampling and purchase of wine.


Concealed weapons are NOT allowed – it’s the law.

Anyone found in possession of a concealed weapon will be immediately removed from the festival.
